How to make your Garden Grow

Waterfalls and Gardens

There are so many beautiful waterfalls in the world, wouldn’t it be great to be able to see them all.  Being around them makes you feel so calm.

When I was younger I had the chance to sit under a waterfall coming down a mountain and the feeling was so spectacular, I didn’t want to ever leave.

Waterfalls are a very popular addition when landscaping your garden.  The Chinese believe that running water is very good for us, so a lovely waterfall in your garden increases the calming feelings that your garden gives you.

Setting out your garden, it is like painting a picture using flowers, trees, shrubs, ground cover and also bark or pebbles.  You can have a structured garden where everything is precise and exact with your plants shaped purposely, or you can construct a rain forest type garden where you plant your garden willy nilly with everything growing within themselves creating a beautiful rain forest.

There are no rules when making your garden.  You can do whatever you want, however there are a couple of things you should look at before you go digging those holes and planting your trees.  Read the labels on your plants to see how big will they grow.  Not a good idea planting a huge tree right beside your home.  Also should they be in sun or shady areas.  Put some thought into what colours they are and think about that painting you are creating.

The most important thing you need to do when creating your garden is to have fun and really enjoy yourself.
